Last year’s G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination will commence on May 23 and will not be postponed, Commissioner General of Examinations said.
Commissioner L.M.D. Dharmasena denied rumors over the postponement of the examinations and said all arrangements have been made to conduct the exams that have been already postponed twice.
He said the PostMaster General has agreed to a request made by him to distribute admission cards on time for private candidates.
Mr. Dharmasena said they are discussing with police over security arrangements to be made during the examination period and examination papers will be dispatched to centres next week.
