The Department of Immigration and Emigration has made it mandatory for public to obtain an appointment prior to visiting the department.
The department has requested persons who are planning to visit the department to make a prior appointment and be present at the department on the time arranged earlier.
They also said that people who are undergoing self-quarantine and those who are living in areas of police curfew would not be eligible to reserve dates through online as a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19
