Housing units located in Wekanda, Bambalapitiya, Prince of Wales, Siridhamma Mawatha, Kamkarupura, Mihindu Mawatha housing schemes and several buildings in Maligawatte housing scheme will need immediate attention due to lack of maintenance. Ministry Secretary W.S.Sathyananda said the Ministry is planning to consult the National Building Research Organization (NBRO) to conduct testing and issue a technical report on the risks.
