Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena will meet the members of the Election Commission on Monday to discuss the possibility of finalising a date for the Local Goverment elections.
The meeting is taking place on the request of the Election Commission.
The Elections rescheduled for this month after being postponed from March 10 is now set to be postponed again.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
