The Public Service Commission has approved the following amendments to the “PART I: SECTION (IIA) ADVERTISING” of the Gazette notification of the Open Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Foreign Service– 2020 (2021) published in the Gazette of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, No.2/223 of 09.04.2021, Foreign Ministry said.
Accordingly, the closing date for applications for the above examination mentioned in section 08 (III) of the above notification is extended to 04.06.2021.
Further, the maximum age limit specified in Section 04 of the notification shall remain the same as at the previous closing date for applications (i.e. 10.05.2021) given in the original gazette notification.

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has interdicted Colombo Fort Magistrate Kosala Senadheera.
The Supreme Court today refused interim relief in an application filed by President’s Counsel Senaka Walgampaya seeking an Order from the Supreme Court compelling the President to appoint judges to fill the existing vacancies in the Court Of Appeal.
The deadline for online applications to the 2024 G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination has been extended until July 12, the Department of Examinations said.
