Pastor Jerome Fernando who made a controversial statement regarding Buddhism and other religions, due in Sri Lanka on Sunday delayed his return until lawyers prepare the way for his return.
“Now our lawyers are working and preparing the way for me to return’, he said in a live stream video from Singapore.
Earlier Police said that he could be arrested on return to the country over his remarks.
However, the Pastor in the video message on Sunday said he was apologizing to the Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims.
But, in the same statement, he said he did not see anything wrong in his original statement though he was apologizing.
