The Department of Pensions has decided to temporarily suspend the scheduled interviews for the pensioners due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation in the country, Director-General of Pensions, A.Jagath D.Dias said.
Accordingly, pensioners who were supposed to attend interviews from May 3 onwards will be informed regarding a new date for their interviews in the future, the department said.
