The social activist, Piyath Nikeshala was arrested over a complaint by the former Deputy Mayor of Kaduwela, Chandika Abeyratne lodging a complaint for damaging his car.
Chandika Abeyratne was arrested earlier for allegedly assaulting Piyath Nikeshala.
