Police said the suspect had used a T56 to kill the victim over a personal dispute. The suspect will be produced before Walasmulla Magistrate Courts today(22).
Meanwhile, another wanted suspect Mahesh Abeygunawardena alias Payagala podda has been arrested by the Kalpitiya Police Special Task Force team on Tuesday.
The suspect wanted in connection with a number of housebreaking incidents, thefts, rape cases in Payagala, Kalutara and Ratnapura and possession of firearm was arrested at a house located in rural kurakkanhena village in Kalpitiya, police said.
