Police are hunting for a suspect in connection with the murder of a 25-year-old preschool teacher in Peradeniya this morning (7).
The victim, Anjali Chapa, had been killed this morning while on her way to participate in the Avurudu celebrations at her preschool.
Her body which bore cut injuries was found close to her school. The victim is a resident of Muruthalawa, Kandy. (PCK)

A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
