President meets visiting UN Asst. Secretary-General

President Ranil Wickremesinghe met visiting U.N. Assistant Secretary General, Kanni Wignaraja at the Presidential Secretariat today, President’s Media Division said.

During the meeting, the President briefed the visiting delegation on the political reforms, including the establishment of the Constitutional Council in Parliament and on-going discussions with other political parties regarding a resolution to the ethnic issues in the country, the PMD said.
