Investigations into the Easter Sunday bomb attacks are proceeding on new information received, Acting Inspector General of Police Priyantha Weerasooriya said.
He was responding to questions from the media during an official visit to the Thambuttegama area yesterday.
He said he could not give a time frame for the completion of the investigations.
The newly elected NPP Government led by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake have vowed to carry out a full investigation into the Easter Sunday bomb attacks and find out the persons responsible for the attacks.
