Public protests and rallies are banned until further notice since there is a high risk of the COVID-19 spread considering the current situation in the country, the Director General of Health Services said today.
Issuing a statement, police said that the Director-General of Health Services has informed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) in a letter not to allow any such protests or rallies which would attract masses to gather in big numbers.
The police said stern actions will be taken against those who violate the COVID-19 regulations.
