The medical staff at Puttalam hospital carried out a protest today demanding fuel for their transportation.
The medical staff officials including matrons and nurses obstructed the Puttalam Kurunegala Road. 
A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
