Former Minister Ravi Karunanayake attended the inaugural session of Sri Lanka's 10th Parliament today as the National List appointment of the New Democratic Front (NDF).
Speaking to the media, Karunanayake confirmed that his appointment via the NDF’s National List was legal and emphasized that the issue was limited to a few individuals, not the entire party.
He said that his focus is on rebuilding the United National Party (UNP) and steering it back to strength, adding that the party cannot suffer for the benefit of a few.
