An allowance of 10,000 rupees will be provided to every household affected by the flood, Senior Advisor to the President on National Security and Chief of Presidential Staff Sagala Ratnayaka said.
He stated that this financial assistance is intended for cleaning houses which were destroyed by the floods.
Additionally, he stated that subsequent steps will be implemented promptly once assessment reports on all partially and fully damaged houses and buildings are received.
