Sri Lanka Treasury bills’ interest rates rose to 30.51 per cent with Rs. 38,801 billion worth of offers for 3-month bills accepted at Wednesday’s auction by the Central Bank.
Bids worth Rs.9,582 billion at an interest rate of 29.51 per cent for 6-month bills were accepted while 12-month bills worth Rs. 8,330 billion were accepted at 29.83 per cent interest, the Central Bank said.
