Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) handed over two Heated Humidified Oxygen Therapy Units today to health authorities at SLAF Headquarters to be used at Theldeniya Base Hospital and the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital for patients with COVID-19.
Central Province Health Services Director Dr. Nihal Weerasuriya accepted the equipment from SLAF Commander Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana, the SLAF said.
The General Engineering Wing at Katunayake manufactured the Units jointly with the Electronics and Telecommunications Wing at Ratmalana, the SLAF further added.
