Sri Lanka Cricket has filed a complaint with the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption against former Sports Minister MP Roshan Ranasinghe.
The SLC said that they have filed a complaint over allegations of misuse of funds provided to the National Sports Fund for sports development in Sri Lanka owing to MP Ranasinghe’s insufficient disclosure of the use of funds allocated by the SLC for its intended purposes.
SLC has further mentioned that it expects a thorough investigation by the Bribery Commission and will collaborate with authorities to ensure a fair resolution, as part of its commitment to sports promotion in Sri Lanka.
