The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has decided to field their candidate at the upcoming Presidential election under the party’s symbol of pohottuwa (lotus), the party’s General Secretary MP Sagara Kariyawasam said.
The decision was taken following the political committee meeting held this evening. The party is expected to declare its candidate before August 15.
