The Sri Lanka Railways would resume services in the northern line track tomorrow by initially running two trains.
The General Manager of Railways S. S Mudalige told the Sunday Times that Yal devi train would run from Fort to Kankansanthurai at 5.45 am .
He added that the Rajarata Rajina train would also run from Beliatta to Anuradhapura on Monday at 1.45 pm. The same train would operate from Anuradhapura to Belliatta on Tuesday at 5.30 am.
Mr Mudalige said that the train operation resumed with mutual agreement of the Railway engine drivers and authorities following a test run carried out in the northern line.
