The Special Task Force (STF) has busted a racket of selling all types of narcotics from a location in Seeduwa amidst an increase of drug detections across the country,
A suspected was arrested in the Seeduwa area with drugs – Ice, Cocaine, Hash and Kush.
The 35 year old suspect from Maligawatte was arrested on a tip-off as he was preparing to distribute drugs.
At the time of the raid he is reported to have in his possession 100 grams of Ice, Cocaine 5.05 grams and 30 grams of Kush, but was believed to be a regular supplier of drugs operating from the Dambaduraya area of Seeduwa.
A STF special team from the Gonahena camp under the directions of IP S.D.P.N. Deshapriya carried out the operation.
