School principal resigns to contest elections
Principal of a National school resigned to contest elections.
The Principal of a National School in Monaragala has resigned from his post to contest under the NPP from the Monaragala District.
Mr Ruwan Wijeweera Gunaratne, principal of Mahanama National School, Monaragala resigned from his post on Monday.
He is also an old boy of the school and a Cadet officer.
