The Second Reading of the Online Safety Bill was passed in Parliament a short while ago by a majority of 46 votes.
The Bill received 108 votes in favour and 62 against. The vote came at the end of a two-day debate into the Bill.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
