Several spells of showers expected
Several spells of showers will occur in North-Central, Eastern and Uva provinces and in Mullaitivu district, the Metrology Department said.
Accordingly showers may occur in Central, Sabaragamuwa, North-western and Southern provinces. Apart from that, mainly fair weather (sunny weather) will prevail elsewhere in the island.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
