A shooting incident has been reported from Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court.
The suspect had managed to escape the Court premises after the incident and police are currently searching the area for the suspect, Police Media Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said.
"The individual had fired a few rounds towards the witness stand and there was a witness testifying for a case at that time. The witness is unharmed, and no injuries have been reported," SSP Thalduwa said.
