The Supreme Court determination on the Port City Economic Commission Draft Bill will be announced in Parliament on May 18.
The determination from the Supreme Court had been received by the Speaker last evening (5).
The Bill was challenged by 18 petitioners while several others came in as intervening petitioners.
The majority of the petitioners claimed some of the clauses were in contravention of the Constitution and therefore needed to be submitted to a referendum in addition to a special majority in Parliament.
