Special meeting at election commission today
All Assistant and Deputy Election Commissioners from all districts were called in by the Election Commission today (August 15) for a special meeting at the Commissioner’s premises regarding impending elections.
Matters involving Commission’s continued activities and managing elections way forward were the primary purpose of this meeting, an official said.
This was the first meeting since the appointment of its Chairperson and new members.
