SriLankan Airlines announced welcoming Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal on her journey from London to Colombo.
The flight, UL 504 carrying both Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence is expected to arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport at noon today (10).
“We are delighted to welcome on board Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal on her journey from London to Colombo on a two-day official visit to mark the 75 years of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom. It is truly an honour to extend Her Royal Highness and the delegation our inherent Sri Lankan warmth and hospitality, thereby presenting the first taste of our island home through service,” SriLankan Airlines tweeted.
This will be the Princess Royal’s first official royal tour of the year.

The Government today tabled in the House the Report of the Commission to Inquiry into the Establishment and Maintenance of Unlawful Places of Detention and Torture Chambers in the Batalanda Housing Scheme.
