State Minister Piyal Nishantha announced that he has contracted COVID-19 and that he will be following instructions given by health authorities in the next few weeks.
The Minister made this announcement via social media and requested those who closely associated him during the past weeks to extend their support to health officials.
Piyal Nishantha, Women and Child Development, Pre-schools and Primary Education, School Infrastructure and Education Services State Minister was spotted with top government ministers and officials in several recently held events. He will be the fourth Parliamentarian to test positive for Coronavirus.
