A state electronic media institution has launched an inquiry into the resignation of a female employee alleging she was subjected to sexual advances by a senior official.
In a letter to the employee, the electronic media company requested her to be present on May 04 at the company’s director board’s conference room.
She has been requested to bring any documents, audio, and video evidence as well as emails or any other evidence to prove her statement made on social media.
The inquiry is conducted by senior Attorney at Law Sweena Chang.
Cabinet Spokesman Bandula Gunewardena on Tuesday assured to conduct an independent inquiry into the allegation.
