State ministers to be sworn in tomorrow

A number of state ministers will be sworn in tomorrow, President’s office sources said.

Majority of the state ministers will be from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP). The ministry positions will be for a short period of time until an all party government is formed, the sources said.

It has been observed that many projects have been stalled and state institutions coming under state ministries are struggling due to the absence of relevant ministers.
