The Special Task Force has arrested four suspects in Milleniya on Monday (December 5), including a school student for distributing ICE and drug pills to school children.
In a series of raids conducted in Milleniya Watta and Paragasthota by officials of the Special Task Force (STF) Horana Camp, four suspects, between the ages 18 and 33 and residents of Paragasthota and Milleniya, were arrested.
The suspects had distributed ICE and drug pills to school students through the 18 year old school student, where it was revealed that his mother had supported him to commit the crime.
The suspects were handed over to the Milleniya Police for further investigations, along with 13g 580mg of ICE and 120 drug pills, seized from the suspects.
The raids were conducted by a group of officials of the STF Horana Camp, including the Camp Commander Chief Inspector of Police J.U.S. De Silva and Sub-Inspector Abeytunga.
