A 38 year old was arrested for the possession of drugs in a sacred ground of Kelaniya, the Special Task Force (STF) said today (April 22).
Upon information received by the STF officials of the Gonahena Camp, they had conducted a raid at the Galahitiyawa junction in Sapugaskanda, where a 38 year old Kelaniya resident was arrested.
The suspect was arrested while in possession of 2kg 72mg of Cannabis in the sacred ground of Kelaniya.
The suspect was handed over to the Sapugaskanda Police.
