A 37 year old has been arrested by the Special Task Force in Kirulapone Police Domain for the possession of Kerala Ganja worth Rs. 600,000.
On August 28, in a raid conducted by the STF on Siebel Avenue, No. 236/3, Wijaya Kumaratunga road, Polhengoda, a 37 year old was arrested for possession of 6kg 135g of Kerala Ganja, who was handed over to the Kirulapone Police.
The raid was conducted by officers including A. N. T Kumara and other officials of the Special Task Force Special Operations Division III, under the supervision of the STF and the Police Narcotic Bureau.
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to vacate his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo this morning, a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) source said.
The Presidents’ Entitlements (Repeal) Bill was passed by a majority of 150 in parliament today. However the opposition MP’s were absent during the voting.
