A "Suwa Dharani" Ayurvedic casket, which the government intends to distribute to the public free of charge as a method of enhancing immunity against COVID-19, was officially presented to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today at Temple trees by State Minister of Indigenous Medicine Promotion Sisira Jayakody.
The "Suwa Dharani" casket includes a number of ayurvedic medicines including the Suwa Dharani syrup.
The casket is to be distributed to all religious institutions in the island under the first stage and plans are underway to distribute it to the public through Divisional Secretariats under the second stage, the PM's Media Division said.
