Swearing in of the new Cabinet has commenced at the Presidential Secretariat.
Dr Harini Amarasuriya was sworn in as the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education.

Prof Upali Pannilage: Rural Development, Social Security and Community Empowerment
Sunil Handunnetti : Industries and Entrepreneurship development
Ananda Wijepala : Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs
