A ten acre land belonging to the Sri Lanka Railways in Maradana will be used to store essential dry rations imported under the Indian credit line.
Minister of Transport Bandula Gunawardena said the CGR warehouse facility in the land will be refurbished for this purpose.
He said distribution to provinces will be done through this warehouse facility.
The Minister said 300 million US dollars is remaining from the Indian credit facility to import essential dry rations.
