The Nawala railway crossing will be closed for several hours on selected times on September 9 and 10 for repairs of the rail track, officials said.
Accordingly the crossing will be partially closed from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm on September 9 while on the same day the crossing will be closed from 8.00 pm to 6.00 am on the following day.
Railway authorities have urged the public to use alternative routes during the time.
The crossing is located between the Narahenpita and Nugegoda railway stations.
