The Third Reading of Budget 2022 was passed in Parliament a short while ago with a majority of 93 votes.
A division was called for after Chief Opposition Whip Lakshman Kiriella called for a vote on the Third Reading. A total of 157 MPs voted for the motion while 64 voted against it.
Parliament will reconvene in the new year at 10.00am on January 11, 2022.
