At least 30 persons were injured when a private bus operating between Welimada and Bandarawela ran off the road at Dayaraba, Saturday night, Police said.
The injured were admitted to the Meegahawatta and Welimada hospitals.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
