Three suspects who handled the drug network of underworld mobster Badowita Nalin have been arrested, the STF said today (May 17).
Upon information received by STF officials of Special Operations III, they conducted a raid yesterday in Mount Lavinia, where three residents of Ratmalana were arrested.
They were in possession of 250g of ice drug, 5kg 320g of Kerala Cannabis, 320g of Mawa mixed with tobacco and Rs. 162,000 gained from sale of drugs.
The suspects have been handling the drug network and are the three main accomplices of the underworld mobster known as Badowita Nalin. They were active in Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia and Ratmalana areas.
They have been handed over to the Mount Lavinia Police for further investigations.
