Three suspects who were wanted in connection with setting fire to President Ranil Wickremesinghe's private residence in Kollupitiya have been arrested.
The suspects, aged between 18 and 22, are residents of Madapatha and Colombo 05. The Criminal Investigations Department (CID), which is conducting investigations into the crime, arrested them last night from Piliyandala and Narahenpita, Police Media Unit said.
The Department of National Zoological Gardens is readying enclosures to quarantine two large tortoises that were found stranded 15 kilometers westwards off Pitipana Negombo, today.
