Three coal vessels have reached Puttalam with each carrying 60,000 metric tonnes of coal, the Ministry of Power and Energy said.
Unloading of coal from the 17,18 and 19th vessels commenced a few hours ago and will ensure uninterrupted power supply, the Ministry said.
