Three persons were killed when their car collided with a lorry in Hambantota, Police said today.
The car was heading towards Kataragama last night while the lorry was travelling in the opposite direction.
Two persons were killed on the spot while the third person succumbed to his injuries at the Hambantota hospital.
The lorry driver has been arrested.
