Passport case against Diana Gamage to be taken up on Feb. 16
The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has issued an order for further examination of evidence in a case filed against former Deputy Minister Diana Gamage to be conducted on February 16. Ms Gamage is charged with providing false information to the Controller General of Immigration and Emigration to obtain a passport and for residing in Sri Lanka without a valid visa.
CID petitioned to investigate missing cancer medications
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has been petitioned to investigate an alleged shortage of 40 cancer medications. Also, it is claimed that unregistered cancer drugs are currently circulating in the market.
