The number of confirmed COVID-19 deaths in the country crossed the 10, 500 mark this evening with a further 184 deaths being reported yesterday.
Of the deaths confirmed yesterday, 97 were males while 87 were females. A total of 134 of those who died were aged 60 years and above while 46 were between the ages of 30 and 59. The Director General of Health Services has also confirmed the deaths of four persons below the age of 30 years who have succumbed to COVID-19.
The latest figures bring the total number of COVID deaths in the country to 10, 504.
