All senior public sector transfers have been put on hold until a proper system is put in place, the President’s office has decided.
The Public Service Commission has been informed about the decision.
Accordingly transfers of Grade one officers including Government Agents, Divisional Secretaries, department heads will not be transferred immediately.
The PSC in September had issued instructions to carryout transfers of public sector senior employees.
But, the President’s office has pointed out the absence of a proper system could disrupt the administrative set up.
