Several areas in Colombo and its suburbs will experience a 12-hour disruption to water supply on Sunday (25), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced.
The interruption, scheduled from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m., will affect Colombo 1 to 15, inclusding Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, Kaduwela, Battaramulla, Kolonnawa, Kotikawatte, Mulleriyawa, IDH, Maharagama, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Ratmalana, and Moratuwa.
The NWSDB attributed the scheduled water cut to essential maintenance work and advised residents in the affected areas to store adequate water in advance and use supplies sparingly during the period.
