The Cabinet approved a proposal to lease two blocks of land within the premises of Waters Edge, Battaramulla to the Sri Lanka Navy and Asoka Vidyalaya in Colombo 10.
The lands will be used by the Navy for boat riding activities, rescue camp trainings and will be used as a playground by the school.
The proposal was submitted by by the Minister of Urban Development and Housing Prasanna Ranatunga.
